Through its competitive tender notice SEA calls upon all architects and designers, in Italy and abroad, to bring its vision for “La Porta di Milano” to life, a genuine work of art connecting the airport to the city, a grand entrance of great symbolic value filled with awe-inspiring lights, sounds, materials and colours.

“La Porta di Milano” will be a unique, iconic work, the ideal mix of art and architecture by which Milan will greet the entire world in a brand new way: an emotional, memorable gateway of such striking aesthetics as to make a lasting impression in the hearts and minds of travellers.

With this project, SEA, Malpensa and the City look forward to the 2015 challenge: a major challenge, open to anyone who wishes to participate with a project that can rise to the occasion!”
