SOILED – Call for Submissions

SOILED (http://soiled.cartogram.org) is a venue for dialogue and exploration, operating at the intersection of architecture, urbanism, and the pedosphere.  It investigates the role that the built environment plays in social issues including urban agriculture, toxic remediation, radical infrastructure, and geophagia.  By seeking the active participation of multi-disciplinary contributors, SOILED curates print media to communicate ideas, from the arable to the obscene.

SOILED is calibrated filth.

SOILED, a semiannual journal published by CARTOGRAM (http://cartogram.org), is seeking submissions for its forthcoming inaugural issue, to be released in December 2010! Original essays, diagrams, mappings, photographs, and design projects will be reviewed for inclusion. Contact us before AUGUST 15 if you want to contribute.
