International Consultation on the Regeneration and Redevelopment of Sungang-Qingshuihe, Shenzhen

The Sungang-Qingshuihe area is located in the northwest of Luohu district, Shenzhen. As Shenzhen has developed rapidly, the Sungang-Qingshuihe area has evolved from a marginal area into a core area of Shenzhen. The area plays an important role on accommodating the overflow and outward radiation of the urban core area’s functions to drive development of the city’s peripheral areas. So it is urgently required to transform its internal functions. As such, Shenzhen will promote its upgrading and development construction of Sugang-Qingshuihe area with an urban development strategy. This aims to deepen the cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, improve the integration inside and outside the special economic zone, and build Luohu district into an international retail center for the region.

In this context, the People’s Government of Luohu District, Shenzhen and the Urban Planning, Land and Resources Commission of Shenzhen Municipality are jointly undertaking the International Consultation on the Regeneration and Redevelopment of Sungang-Qingshuihe, Shenzhen. The two are looking for international
visions and innovative ideas that will boost the area’s industrial upgrading, functional transformation and even the continued prosperity of the entire Luohu district.

This international competition is open to all consulting groups throughout the world. To participate in this competition, please refer to the Consultancy Mission and Entry Rules of the International Consultation on the Regeneration and Redevelopment of Sungang-Qingshuihe, Shenzhen, and fill out the application form.
