Holcim Awards US - for sustainable construction

The Holcim Awards US for Sustainable Construction is a competition for projects that embody approaches to meet the present-day needs for housing and infrastructure without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs in times to come.

The competition celebrates innovative, future-oriented and tangible sustainable construction projects from around the global and offers prize money of 2 million USD! The 3rd International Holcim Awards competition is open for entries from July 1, 2010 until March 23, 2011 at 14:00hrs GMT.

Best of all there is no fee to enter and lots of prize money to be won. There are also separate categories for professionals and students.
