Launching in tandem with Archollective.com is the PROCESS competition 2011.
The PROCESS competition 2011 is unlike any other architecture competition because it does not present participants with a project brief or a design problem to solve. Rather, participants will document their design process alongside hundreds of other architecture students across the globe while developing studio projects that have already been (or will be) assigned.
As studio work progresses, your pin-up space will grow with new images, ideas, and feedback from your peers. How you use Archollective is just as important as what you're designing. This is not a competition where the sexiest rendering wins. We are focused on discovering and showcasing the solid design process behind a beautifully executed concept.
Participants will be evaluated by a panel of judges consisting of architecture related professionals. For the final submission, your work will be compiled in three categories: Conceptual design, Schematic design, and Final presentation. Your activity in the community will also be taken into consideration; the more you interact with your fellow competitors, the better your chances are of winning.
