New York City’s Center for Architecture is pleased to announce upcoming scholarship opportunities for your students. We are proud to support architecture and design education and research through our award program.
Our upcoming scholarship opportunities include the Women’s Auxiliary Eleanor Allwork Scholarship and Center for Architecture Foundation Design Scholarship. Students must be nominated by the dean or chair of their program in order to apply and one letter of recommendation must be written by the nominating Dean or Chair.
The Women’s Auxiliary Eleanor Allwork Scholarship and the Center for Architecture Foundation Design Scholarship are geared towards students seeking their first degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited school within the State of New York. The Dean or Chair of the architectural school shall nominate up to three students from their respective college or university to apply. Nominated students will have a high level of academic performance and evidence of financial need. The financial need of each student shall be determined by the guidelines of the Financial Aid Officer of the school nominating the candidate. Students need not be U.S. citizens. The 2011 deadline for both the Women’s Auxiliary Eleanor Allwork Scholarship and Center for Architecture Foundation Design Scholarship is March 15th.
