galleryMADA's curatorial vision focuses on the art of architecture and design. We seek out and promote emerging design talent and the unique art they create. Our collection covers a range of subjects, from architecture to fashion, and explores the types of drawings that designers use to develop ideas and convey intent

This Call to Designers is focused on the Art of Architecture. Selected designers will be offered the opportunity of representation by galleryMADA in the exhibition and sale of their work. Artwork can be any medium (so long as it can be reproduced in the form of a 2D print) and from any point in the design process: from the first gestural studies all the way to polished presentations.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

Marketability - We are looking for beautiful and intriguing examples of the art produced during the design process.

Strong thematic inquiries and unique methods of investigation

Demonstrated strength and consistency of the designers portfolio

The designers story, achievements and desire to creatively market their own work – galleryMADA leverages the collective talent and network of our designers to promote the art of design

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Please send your submission, via email, to submissions@galleryMADA.com and include the following:

Subject line: your name

Brief bio: max. 250 words

Phone number: optional

Representative portfolio: (reference "selection criteria" above)

Each portfolio image should be a single jpg, pdf or zip file and total email size should not exceed 5mb

Each image file should contain your last name followed by a numbering system, e.g., "yourname_1 of 4"

TIMELINE

Expect 4-6 week review period

All designers will be informed, via email provided on the submission form, of the gallery's selection
