IFDA 2008: International Furniture Design Competition Asahikawa

Asahikawa, one of JapanÍs furniture manufacturing centers, is seeking for designs of furniture which will be treasured for a long time by users and makers alike. Works entered should be unpublished and use wood for their main component parts. Various cash prizes will be awarded, including the 3-million yen Gold Leaf Prize. The winning works will be on exhibit at the International Furniture Design Fair held in Asahikawa in June of 2008.
