SELF-SUSTAINING ECO VILLAGE EMPORDA WETLANDS

Larsen Liverpool are hosting an international competition for an innovative design of a self sustaining eco village within the natural settings of the protected wetlands of Emporda, situated between the Mediterranean coastline of the Girona province and the Catalonian Pyrenees mountains, Spain.

 The wetlands or 'aiguamolls' are rich in biodiversity and offer a fantastic opportunity for designers to challenge themselves and explore their creativity within this sustainable and vernacular based competition.
