ACE-UIA International Conference on Design Competitions

The Architects Council of Europe (ACE) and the International Union of Architects (UIA) are jointly organising an International Conference on Design Competitions. The Conference will take place on Friday 25 October 2019 at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.

This event will bring together architects, urban planners, municipal governments, international organisations, and academics. Speakers and participants will explore the benefits and challenges of architectural competitions, with a focus on how to promote high-quality results, through three moderated panels on the following subjects:

1. Why do we need quality in our built environment?

2. How do we promote quality?

3. Architectural design competitions worldwide.
