Dirty Furniture calling…

Tuesday, Apr 21, 20206 PM - 7 PMBST

Online Event | Click here to attend and/or register

The coronavirus has turned the world as we know it on its head. What is happening is terrible, but rather than simply carry on, we’d like to treat these events as an opportunity to explore and to think.

In this spirit, we’re initiating Dirty Furniture calling…, a series of live phone calls every Tuesday, between our contributors and friends. We’ll discuss phones, love, work, distraction and life in this somewhat alien time of social distancing.

Afterall, crises are a chance to consider the world anew. Life may not be the same after this—dial in to help us think about what the new normal might be.

Adam Greenfield calling Shumi Bose talking about work, personas, labour, enterprise, usefulness and collaboration.

Adam Greenfield is a London-based writer and urbanist. His most recent book is Radical Technologies: The Design of Everyday Life (Verso, 2017). Shumi Bose is an educator, editor and curator, most recently of the exhibition Freestyle: Architectural Adventures in Mass Media (2020) by Space Popular at the RIBA, London.

Return here at 5.45pm London time to dial in on Zoom
