How to Build a Black Architect with Lesley Lokko

Join us this Friday at 12pm (EST) as Lesley Lokko kicks off the HBCU Africa Architecture Lecture series off by discussing how to build a Black Architect.

---

The HBCU Africa Homecoming, African Diaspora Nation, and ArchiAfrika organizations present the HBCU African Architecture Lecture series. This is the first in a series of lectures to address the HBCU Africa Innovation City student competition currently open for submissions through May 2021.

Join at www.Africandiaspoaranation.org to hear and discuss an interdisciplinary consortium of renowned politicians, academicians, and practitioners as they discuss issues and implications on the prospect of creating an Africa innovation center or city. The proposed innovation center will focus on the global representation, technologies, and aspirations of African, African descent, and those of the African Diaspora.

Conversations will review the benefits and bridging between the Historical Black College and University (HBCU) system and the African Continent.
