Environmental Life Cycle Assessment in Design 2021 Symposium

Tuesday, Mar 30, 20219 AM - 2 PMEDT

Online Event | Click here to attend and/or register

This inaugural symposium, free for all students, is organized and sponsored by the New Jersey Institute of Technology and the American Center for Life Cycle Assessment unites these two parallel but separate cultures engaged in dynamic systems thinking. It will explore areas of common cause and mission in two sectors: building and transportation. Through three half days of presentations and working sessions, we will come together to define current and future opportunities in measurable environmental impact brought about through leaps in computational power that promise to augment and improve sustainable design processes at multiple scales.

View speakers and schedule.

Student code SRATE2021

This symposium is free for students, and features extraordinary practitioners who are making a measurable in their design and data work.

In the hands of designers, LCA tools can enable the integration of measurable environmental impact decision making into the design and production of everything, from the products we use to the buildings we live and work in, unlocking the regenerative potential inherent in designing processes, products and the built environment.
