Common Ground: Making the Renovation Wave a Cultural Project

Thursday, Apr 29, 202110 AM - 4 PMCEST

Online Event | Click here to attend and/or register

The New European Bauhaus Collective (NEBC) invites you to participate in its online conference 'Common Ground: Making the Renovation Wave a Cultural Project’ on 29 April 2021 from 10 am to 4pm CET.

Launched by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, at the occasion of the State of the European Union last September, the New European Bauhaus aims to make the Green Deal a cultural, human-centered and positive, ‘tangible’ experience. It intends to bring about a green transformation of the built environment and the construction sector and at the same time trigger a broad discussion about future ways of living together, at the crossroads between art, culture, social inclusion, science and innovation.

By making the Renovation Wave a cultural project, the Commission initiates a fundamental shift, which can be a game-changer in the transition to a more sustainable economy and society.

In the spirit of the New European Bauhaus, the NEBC conference is designed as a participatory and multi-disciplinary event, enabling people from various backgrounds to meet and exchange ideas on challenges raised by the New European Bauhaus. It will be an opportunity to take stock of the development of the NEB initiative and  also to contribute to its co-design phase and reflect on emerging trends. Join the conversation and let’s shape the New European Bauhaus together! The event will bring together professionals and workers from the creative and cultural sectors; educators and researchers; representatives from cities and the European institutions, and NEB enthusiastic citizens. Common Ground: Making the Renovation Wave a Cultural Project Online conference By the New European Bauhaus Collective (NEBC) 29 April 2021- from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm CEST
