Sustainability in Residential Renovation – A Renovation Wave for Denmark

Thursday, May 27, 20211 PM - 4:30 PMCEST

Online Event | Click here to attend and/or register

Strategic Design & Entrepreneurship’s Claire Kimball Johnson presents A Renovation Wave for Denmark, a strategy to increase architect-led sustainable renovations of private residential properties in Denmark. The project explores how a low-cost sustainability certification for small scale residential renovations can enable architects to take the lead in a new wave of residential renovations stimulated by the EU Commission’s New European Bauhaus initiative.

The Royal Danish Academy’s Institute of Architecture and Design and Grundejernes Investeringsfond invite four researchers with extensive experience in sustainable architecture and holistic renovation practices to reflect on the project and discuss how architects can increase sustainability in private residential renovations.

Architects, homeowners and construction industry professionals are encouraged to join the conversation in this 90-minute webinar to contribute feedback and ideas.
