CBDX: BORDERLANDS Jury Panel Discussion + Awards Announcement

Join the University of Calgary’s School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape on September 8 at 1pm MDT for a virtual conversation about borders - ground zero for civilization's greatest challenges. What role can designers have to positively impact those affected by these borderlands?

The CBDX: BORDERLANDS competition was created to encourage thinking, discourse and design around the issue of borders. Join us on September 8 to hear the renowned jury's conversation about the competition brief and the entries they reviewed. There was a considerable global response to this competition - with submissions from 69 cities representing 22 countries. The jury will identify the submissions that really engaged the brief and announce the winners, honorable mentions and finalists.

The CBDX: BORDERLANDS Jury members are:

Luis Callejas (Oslo, Norway)
Danika Cooper (UC Berkeley)
Rania Ghosn (MIT)
Niall Kirkwood (Harvard)
Clare Lyster (Chicago, Illinois)
Dima Rachid (Beirut, Lebanon)
Lola Sheppard (Waterloo, Canada)
Alberto de Salvatierra (Calgary, Canada)
