ArchAgenda Debates: Cyber Urban Incubators in the Blockchain Metaverse | Chicago Architecture Biennial

The fluidity, mobility and dynamism of 21st century network society is transforming the way we design cities. ArchAgenda invites global design leaders and visionary entrepreneurs to a lively and candid exchange on the recent wave of disruptive innovations emerging in the blockchain Metaverse, with potential to revolutionize dogmas of urban design, economics and governance that stifle urban development and revitalization.

ArchAgenda Debates guest speakers will consider Cyber Urban Incubators in the context of societal paradigm shifts fueled by globally distributed cloud communities, emerging economies, new governance models, novel research agendas, and innovative technologies that transform social synergies and entrepreneurial opportunities. 

The Metaverse is a gamified virtual-reality world in which users interact with 3D computer-generated environments and other users, in real time. Blockchain, the Spatial Web (web3) and the pandemic lockdowns exponentially accelerated the emergence of the Metaverse in 2020.
