Join A Rising Tide, and AAPI Design Alliance for an event during NYCxDESIGN to celebrate Asian and Pacific Islanders in design. Hosted by the Pratt Institute School of Architecture, this event, timed to coincide with Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, will feature short presentations by emerging API design firms and a networking hour for interior designers, architects, makers, and landscape architects. Reception will feature API-founded drink and snack companies.

A Rising Tide is a new organization working to cultivate leadership and increase visibility of Asian and Pacific Islanders working in design for the built environment. The Asian American Pacific Islander Design Alliance (AAPIDA) is an organization and collective that engages, promotes, and empowers Asians, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders working within the home and design industries to foster visibility, collaboration and representation industry-wide.
