The League’s First Friday events are informal social gatherings that allow members to visit the offices of leading design practices and see work on the boards.

ZGF Architects is a leader in sustainable and regenerative design. Recently named one of Fast Company’s most innovative companies of 2023, the firm has a diverse portfolio that includes healthcare and research facilities, mixed-use developments, corporate campuses, and ecodistricts. Founded in 1942 in Portland, Oregon, ZGF has evolved from a single office with strong regional roots to a national practice with seven offices across North America and a staff of over 800 people. In the firm’s own words, “As stewards of the built environment, our applied research and learnings over the past 70 years allow us to invent new approaches that address urgent climate challenges in complex building types.”
