Friday, Sep 29, 202312 PM - 2 PMPDT

WATT Hall B1, Architecture + Fine Arts Library, University of Southern California Los Angeles, CA, US Los Angeles, CA, US | WATT Hall B1, Architecture + Fine Arts Library, University of Southern California

WHAT: Panel Discussion: Wendy W Fok’s Latest Book, digitalSTRUCTURES

digitalSTRUCTURES: Data and Urban Strategies of the Civic Future ponders “If our everyday objects are digital and no longer physical, how does it challenge ecological questions? How does this affect the future of urban living?” The book also explores the relationship between the digital and physical through the use of print text, mixed reality, and augmented reality. This raises further provocations about how digital properties intersect with the physical world, and what this might mean for the future of publishing and information exchange.
