Lo-Fi Architecture. Architecture as curatorial practice

Thursday, Aug 26, 20105:18 PM — Friday, Oct 8, 20105:18 PMEDT

Claudio Buziol Foundation, Cannareggio 4392 Venice, IT | Claudio Buziol Foundation, Cannareggio 4392 Venice, IT

A lo-fi sensibility is one paying special attention to things indeterminate and unresolved. Applied to architecture, it becomes a cultural choice, a point of view that interprets the art of building as a process that is never finished, and architecture is therefore recognized – including in its practical aspects – as being necessarily imperfect and as growing in strength the more open it is. Lo-Fi Architecture is a work platform engaging with urgent questions regarding Italian cities and regions. Lo-Fi Architecture is an exhibition in which a cultural sensibility becomes focused and the possibility of design solutions is presented. Displayed and published are projects, texts and collaborations by: Emanuela Ascari, Claudio Bertorelli, Giovanni Corbellini, Luca Diffuse, Riccardo Dirindin, Luca Emanueli, Francesco Garofalo, Alessandro Gori, Denis Isaia, Luana Labriola, Carlo Ruyblas Lesi, Gianni Lobosco, Anna Lovecchio, Mario Lupano, Maria Marino, Amanda Montanari, Marco Navarra, Elena Pirazzoli, Marco Ragonese, Cristiano Seganfreddo, Salottobuono, Barbara Stefani, TAMassociati, Luca Trevisani
