Building on the success of last year’s New York Now! subway exhibition, the AIA New York Chapter / Center for Architecture opens MADE IN NEW YORK at the West 4th Street subway station. MADE IN NEW YORK presents works of all scales and types done by AIA New York Chapter members across the globe. This high-visibility exhibition offers a snapshot of current practice and celebrates the diversity of the Chapter’s membership. FREE w/subway admission Opening reception on Friday October 8, 6-8pm in the subway station and at the Center for Architecture, 536 LaGuardia Place http://cfa.aiany.org/index.php?section=upcoming&expid=128 This event is part of Architecture Week 2010. Architecture Week is an annual week-long celebration of the best in architecture and design hosted by the Center for Architecture. Programs and events include exhibition openings, Center programming, and presentations by Heritage Ball honorees. This year's Architecture Week will take place October 2 - October 10, 2010.
