TEX-FAB 2.0 will be held in Houston, Texas over four days and include a select group of innovative practitioners in the field of parametric design and digital fabrication lecturing to the general public and instructing registered attendees. The event begins with a Keynote address by Branko Kolarevic on Thursday night and continues with the reveal of the REPEAT competition winner, Minimal Complexity on Friday. With additional lectures by Patrick Hood-Daniel from Build-Your-Own-CNC and MetaLAB, Friday will conclude the open attendance portion of the event with a Gallery Talk Friday evening by Vlad Tenu, designer of Minimal Complexity. The final two days of the event are taken up by workshops in: 3D Modeling led by Brad Bell/ Kevin Patrick McClellan, Scripted Design led by Marc Fornes, Algorithmic Design led by Chris Lasch and Parametric Design led by Studio Mode (Gil Akos/ Ronnie Parsons).
