"Here is a series in no particular order of sketches of mine on favorite historical buildings which have inspired me, plus some buildings we have designed - and then a Heinz Ketchup bottle as an American cultural icon - here is acknowledged the Mannerist range of our cultural interests as relevant: Viva Michelangelo and Heinz Ketchup! I think all of them have one thing in common - they are Mannerist. Viva diversity - extraordinary and ordinary and monumental and vernacular!" - Robert Venturi To celebrate this event, Tuesday 25th at 6:30pm Jim Venturi will come to present the collection and talk about the soon to come documentary "Learning form Bob & Denis". The screening of "Saving Lieb House" and a reception will follow. www.venturiportfolio.com
