The GreenFringe

Thursday, Sep 25, 20086:44 AM — Sunday, Sep 28, 20086:44 AMEDT

Melbourne, Australia | Melbourne, Australia

The GreenFringe army commands your attention at this annual conference to discuss the tactics required in the war against climate change. ABOUT GREENFRINGE 08 Future Green Leaders and 2050 have joined together to host a new green building conference exclusively for students, graduates and young professionals. GreenFringe 08 takes place in Melbourne from 24-27 September and will take an alternative look at the new green building revolution amongst the next generation of property decision makers. As some of the world’s leading green building experts are converging on Melbourne for SB08, the GreenFringe army will encourage them to also share their knowledge with a younger, dynamic and more passionate audience. Expected to attract around 500 students and young professionals from across Australia, this two day conference will also include a number of social events to encourage networking and idea sharing. So join the mutiny and earn your stripes to win the latest battle in the green revolution. ABOUT FUTURE GREEN LEADERS & 2050 Launched at the Green Building Council of Australia’s annual conference, Green Cities 08, Future Green Leaders has attracted over 500 students and young professionals nationwide and provides education and information for its members. This new initiative will continue to encourage the development of the green building agenda nationwide. www.futuregreenleaders.org.au 2050 is a not-for-profit association of built environment professionals formed as an outcome of the first national Youthquake conference held in Newcastle as part of the 2004 Year of the Built Environment. It is supported by other built environment professional bodies such as the Australian Institute of Architects, the Planning Institute of Australia and the Property Council of Australia. www.2050.org.au VOLUNTEER Want to join the troops at GreenFringe 08?
