Marmol Radziner Book Launch Event

Meet authors Ron Radziner, FAIA and Leo Marmol, FAIA at a book signing event to celebrate the launch of the firm’s first monograph: Marmol Radziner + Associates: Between Architecture and Construction (Princeton Architectural Press). The new book reveals a behind-the-scenes look at the firm’s design-build process and the realities of building to the highest standards. The signing will be held at Hennessey and Ingalls, a book store designed by the firm and completed in 2003. The book delivers the architects’ personal account of the inner-workings of their firm, beginning with their early days struggling to establish a design-build approach led by architects, to becoming one of the most visible and successful design-build firms in the nation. Their personal reflection, combined with interviews with over forty employees, clients, and collaborators, highlights the synergistic nature of their work. The book explores a sampling of the firm’s award-winning projects, including Mid-Century restorations, new residences, prefab homes, community spaces, and sustainable commercial sites, offering an insider’s perspective on the give and take between the ideals of design and the reality of building.
