The Lighthouse Debate at the 2008 Venice Architecture Biennale

Charles Jencks, Frank Gehry and Zaha Hadid are among the international line up of speakers taking part in the events programme at A Gathering Space, Scotland’s specially-designed presence at the 2008 Venice Architecture Biennale. Jencks will chair The Lighthouse Debate at 2pm on Friday 12 September, which explores the Biennale’s theme – Architecture Beyond Building. He will be joined on the platform by three of the architects from whom he has commissioned designs for Maggie’s specialist cancer centres - Frank Gehry, Zaha Hadid and David Page. Read more here
