Join us on Wednesday 11 October for the third of our talks on Civic Architecture as we discuss three of this year’s exemplar schemes.
Susie Le Good, Associate Director at AHMM, will discuss 'New Scotland Yard'.
'Changes to the fabric of Curtis Green’s 1930s home for the Metropolitan Police have resulted in a new connection with the public realm through the provision of inviting outdoor spaces.'
Martin Eriksson, Architect at Transport for London and winner of the RIBA London Project Architect of the Year Award 2017, will discuss his project 'West Croydon Bus Station'.
'West Croydon Bus Station has challenged the status quo of transport terminal architecture to deliver inviting, safe and comfortable infrastructure.'
Geoff Shearcroft, Director of AOC Architecture, will discuss 'The Green, Nunhead'.
'A community hall which had a group of local residents and volunteers as the driving force behind the project.'
Get an exclusive insight into each project, followed by a panel discussion exploring the intricacies of working within the Civic typology. Tatiana von Preussen, Co-Founder & Director of vPPR Architects and this year’s South East London jury chair will lead the discussion.
