Alt:town: Alternative pathways to resilient recovery, An LA Forum Alt:adena Roundtable

Alt:town is the third event in L.A. Forum’s Alt:adena roundtable series, which examines recovery pathways for Altadena following the Eaton Fire. This session shifts the conversation to the scale of the town, asking how rebuilding can protect Altadena’s architectural character, legacy of Black homeownership, and community networks while addressing thousands of individual rebuilding decisions. The roundtable focuses on affordable housing, new homeownership models, density, and economic development as tools for a more resilient and familiar Altadena. Panelists include representatives from Foothill Catalog, Beacon Housing, AUX Architecture, cityLAB UCLA, Greenline Housing, and other recovery-focused organizations.
