The Kharkiv Freedom Square Revival competition is organized by Buildner, the Norman Foster Foundation, the Kharkiv City Council, UNECE, and Arup. He is an experienced urban designer, educator, and author, with a global portfolio of public and cultural works.

Beatriz Colomina

A distinguished architectural historian, Colomina is a professor at Princeton University and a prolific writer on architecture and media. Her research and exhibitions, such as "Sick Architecture" and "Radical Pedagogies," explore the intersections of architecture, technology, and culture.

Anupama Kundoo

An architect and professor at TU Berlin, Kundoo focuses on low-impact, socially responsible architecture. Her work emphasizes material research and sustainability, earning her numerous awards, including the UNESCO Global Award for Sustainable Architecture.

Maksim Rozenfeld

An architectural historian and professor in Kharkiv, Rozenfeld is a prominent advocate for the city’s architectural heritage. He plays a key role in Kharkiv’s redevelopment and collaborates with international organizations to shape its future.

Stuart Smith

Director at Arup and leader of its structural team in Germany, Smith has been involved in major global projects, including the CCTV Headquarters in Beijing. His expertise in circular economy principles drives his work toward decarbonizing the built environment.
