Winners of the SC2012 Links: Bridging Rivers Competition

Spanish architectural magazine future arquitecturas recently announced the winners of its SC2012 Links: Bridging Rivers competition which called for innovative ideas of how to build a habitable bridge in two different sites: Chongqing (China) and Seville (Spain). Eligible for the international competition were architecture students or young architects under 35 years old.

The Jury was comprised of Chinese architects Cheng Taining, He Jingtan, Zhuang Weimin, Wang Jianguo, Lu Feng, Meng Jianmin, Hu Yue from China and Jose Morales, Roberto Terradas, Patxi Mangado, Rafael de La-Hoz, Benedetta Tagliabue, Xavier Marti, Gerardo Mingo from Spain.

The ten selected winners shared a total prize money of €20,000 (US$26,100).

First Place - Chongqing:
Pan Yudan, Chen Zhidong, Qian Shiqi,Zhang Hanyang, Cao Zulue, Ye Mingxi (China)
