Early registration for BANGKOK: IAM FASHION HUB ends Dec. 10!

By Bustler Editors|

Monday, Dec 1, 2014

You can still sign up for early-bird registration of the "BANGKOK: IAM FASHION HUB" competition until next Wednesday, December 10. After that, the registration fee will go from $100 up to $120!

In the latest international competition from HMMD (formerly Homemade Dessert), participants will propose an architectural design for a regional ASEAN Fashion Hub in Bangkok, Thailand.

The central hub will not only represent the emerging creative talent in Bangkok, it will also function as an educational and collaborative facility for both fashion students and local fashion designers.

Scroll down further to learn more.

Upon agreement to merge the ASEAN Economic Community into a single market, Thailand, Malaysia, The Philippines, Singapore, and Indonesia (the oldest ASEAN countries) have been in fierce competition with each other to position themselves as the ASEAN Fashion Capital.

The purpose of the Fashion Hub is to serve as a central location with the facilities to provide education and experience to both fashion students and up and coming local fashion designers. The Fashion Hub will have areas dedicated to workshops and skills labs and facilities to accommodate guest speakers and exchange programs with students and designers from all around the world.  Participants are encouraged to present a building complex that would inspire and attract regional and international attention.

Remember, early registration ends on December 10!
