The American Academy in Rome's 2015-2016 Rome Prize winners

It's that time of year again when the winners of the American Academy in Rome's Rome Prize are announced. Winners were recently revealed during the Arthur & Janet C. Ross Rome Prize Ceremony at NYC's Morgan Library and Museum.

Now in its 119th year, the prestigious fellowship is granted to around 30 candidates, who were each selected by a jury of distinguished peers through a national competition.

Winners are then invited to Rome where they can pursue their work for a period spanning from six months up to two years. They're also provided with all the living and working essentials during their stay as a member of the Academy community.
