AIA Los Angeles honors city's top-notch projects in 2016 Design Awards

Design Awards Honor: The Six - Affordable Housing for formerly Homeless and Disabled Veterans (Los Angeles, CA) by Brooks + Scarpa​.

The AIA Los Angeles chapter recently recognized some of the city's top-notch architecture in the 2016 AIA|LA Design Awards. The competition invites submissions for completed projects (located anywhere) that are designed by AIA members from L.A.-based firms. Any AIA member who constructed projects in L.A. (regardless of their location) also has a chance to compete in the Design Awards. The jury awarded Honor, Merit, and Citation awards.

Winners were also revealed in the Next LA Awards for unbuilt commissions, as well as the winners of their first-ever COTE LA awards, which recognizes projects that demonstrate stellar sustainability features.
