YAC announces the winners of ITALIAN FASHION HUB competition

YAC – Young Architects Competitions and Centergross announce the winners of Italian Fashion Hub, an ideas competition that was launched last October and aimed to the design of the biggest fashion citadel of the international scenario. The jury that assessed the submissions was noteworthy: Patrik Schumacher (Zaha Hadid Architects’ DIrector), Aurélien Coulanges (Ateliers Jean Nouvel), Benjamin Gilmartin (Diller Scofidio + Renfro), among the others, featured on this international panel. There was a total cash prize of € 20,000 to reward the winning projects: the 1st prize – € 10,000 – was awarded to the Italian team “GAGAMAMA”, the 2nd prize - € 4,000 – to the Italian team “DDA Studio” and the 3rd one - € 2,000 – went to the Romanian team “Sabrina”. The 4 Gold Mentions – a prize of € 1,000 each – have been assigned to teams “Letizia Artioli, Olimpia Starzycka” (Poland), “Dry Room” (South Korea), “YeS Design” (Kazakhstan) e “HB12” (South Korea). Besides, 40 additional projects have been awarded 10 Honorable Mentions and 30 Finalist Mentions respectively.
