The results are in and the winners of Macro to Micro are here! This two-challenge competition looked at revolutionizing the way we live from the city to the human scale. Macro asked the creative community to engage with the idea of new neighborhoods and greenfield developments, focusing on a site on the outskirts of Manchester, UK. Whereas Micro asked participants to create new affordable living and housing paradigms for the 21st century.

Macro to Micro was run in partnership with BETA Housing 2018, an event that brought together some of the most influential voices to provide an insightful and engaging discussion on the future of residential developments and housing. The event was held in Manchester (UK) on the 12th July 2018.
Macro to Micro was sponsored by Squareyard. A landscape led design practice with international experience on large scale master planning and urban design projects, specialising in urban regeneration, residential schemes and community design.
