Brooks + Scarpa, TIGHE, FreelandBuck, Spinagu among AIA|LA 2019 Residential Architecture Award winners

A fresh set of 23 stunning projects were distinguished in the 2019 AIA|LA Residential Architecture Awards, which celebrates outstanding residential designs in the L.A. region — or abroad — by LA-based architects. The esteemed competition jury evaluated 131 entries that were submitted in six categories: Single-Family Residential; Adaptive Re-Use/Renovation/Historic Preservation; Retirement; Affordable Housing; Additions and Accessory Dwelling Units; and Multi-Unit Residential.

From luxuriously modern single-family homes to a multi-residential project open to previously-homeless veterans, the winning projects were designed by the likes of Brooks + Scarpa, FreelandBuck, Patrick TIGHE Architecture, Lorcan O'Herlihy Architects, Spinagu, and more.
