Moonception 2019 winners envision a “Lunar Experience and Research Center”

In light of the recent 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, Volume Zero's Moonception 2019 competition challenged participants to design a Lunar Experience Centre + Research Centre for 10 tourists and 5 researchers landing on the Moon. The competition concluded with three winners who received a cash prize of $4,000 total, five honorable mentions, and 10 special mentions.

PRIZE WINNERS

1st place: Andrew J Tesmacher and Diana Azbenova | USA.
2nd place: Tim Krups, Leonhardt Michaelis and Robin Radszuweit | Germany.
3rd place: Zhang Yuxing and Yang Hao | China.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Honorable mention: Harshad Manglori, Siddhanth Satyapal Rao and Jose De Guzman from India.
Honorable mention: Jordan Lutren and Matt Busscer from USA.
Honorable mention: Dazhong Yi and Mengyi Li from USA.
Honorable mention: Mei Wu, Yuqi Zhang and Yixiao Wei from USA.
Honorable mention: Jiawei Ji, Minyue Ge and Gonghao Liu from USA.
