arch out loud presents the winners of the 2020 WARMING Competition

For 2020 arch out loud presented a competition brief that invited participants to design and propose "architecture that addresses global warming issues." With climate change and steps towards mitigating its effects globally, the 2020 WARMING Competition asked for submissions of "any building type such as houses, parks, skyscrapers, schools, museums, and more. Projects can explore topics such as sea-level rise, wildfires, air quality, passive design, materials, and recycling." 

Thanks to a jury of esteemed architects and design professionals, competition winners were chosen across four categories, director's choice and honorable mentions.
