The 2021 Render of the Year Competition honors top architectural visualizations

Architectural visualization has become an essential tool for architects and designers. These hyperrealistic images help envision and speculate new and exciting projects. In its second year, the annual Render of the Year Awards showcases the visualization skills of students and practitioners from across the globe. 

This year's jury consisted of many industry veterans, including Melike Altinisik (Melike Altinisik Architects), Katherin Chia (Desai Chia Architecture), Linna Choi (Oualalou + Choi), Arjun Desai (Desai Chia Architecture), Mengyi Fan (SHoP Architects), Alex Hogrefe (Visualizing Architecture Design Distill), Jacinto Monteiro (Overall Winner Render of the Year 2020), Kin Li (MAD Architects), Miriam Peterson (Peterson Rich Office), and Thomas Phifer (Thomas Phifer & Partners). Broken into four categories: Overall Awards, Young Designer Awards,  Interior Awards, and Exterior Awards view a selection of this year's winners below.

OVERALL HONORABLE MENTIONS

Overall Honorable Mention: Sake Brewery Museum by Wellington Franzão, Henrique Driessen, Alix Sligueiro, Carlos Carbonar, Kleiton Oliveira, Cainã de Mello, Isadora Cervi, Cauê Rodrigues (Elephant Skin)
