Revealing the jury for the Buildner Unbuilt Award 2024 / €100,000 prize

Meet the Jury:

• Ece Calguner Erzan, Interiors Principal at SOM, New York, is known for her holistic approach to interior design, skillfully integrating the aesthetics of a building’s exterior with its interior spaces to enhance human experiences.
• Francine Houben, Founding Partner of Mecanoo, is celebrated for her multidisciplinary design philosophy that incorporates insights into human behavior, culture, and the environment, making her projects both functional and sustainable.
• Lyndon Neri, Co-founder of Neri&Hu;, brings a rich blend of Eastern and Western architectural principles to his projects, promoting culturally rooted, contextually sensitive designs.
• Ben van Berkel, of UNStudio, has been instrumental in creating innovative, dynamic spaces that engage and inspire, known for their fluidity and futuristic appeal.
• Michael Meredith, Professor at Princeton University and principal at MOS, offers a critical eye with a focus on merging theoretical and practical elements in architecture.
• Doriana Fuksas, leads Studio Fuksas with a track record of significant international projects, each characterized by architectural boldness and an emphasis on design integrity.

This jury will evaluate submissions based on innovation, functionality, and aesthetic quality, ensuring a comprehensive review that respects the vision and effort of each participant.
