Join Leong Leong, Project Projects, and MTWTF at their shared office for drinks, conversation, and a behind the scenes look at their ongoing work. The League’s First Fridays are monthly opportunities for League members to visit the offices of leading design practices to see work on the boards and learn more about the offices’ organization and design processes. These informal social gatherings feature brief office tours and presentations along with happy hour drinks arranged by the host office.
Founded by brothers Dominic and Chris Leong in 2009, Leong Leong envisions “new relationships between culture and commerce, public and private, and the domestic and monumental.” With offices in New York and Los Angeles, the firm designs buildings, interiors, exhibitions, and furniture.
Over the past 14 years, Project Projects has designed websites, publications, signage, and exhibitions for art institutions, public spaces, architects, non-profit organizations, and global brands.
MTWTF is a design studio that creates communication platforms for cultural, commercial, educational, and civic clients. MTWTF was founded by Glen Cummings in 2008, and Sarah Dunham joined the studio in 2014. The studio “situates itself within the broadest discipline of design — the shaping of our shared physical and electronic environment — and creates communication tools that foster discussion and facilitate change.”
