Building for Bouwkunde is calling on people from all backgrounds to join the Creative Festival and share their wildest dreams.
On the weekend of June 7th and 8th, Building for Bouwkunde will celebrate student and staff creativity and interfacultary collaboration during a Creative Festival. Groups of 5-8 people will work together in workshops throughout the weekend, sharing their ideas and thoughts, to create visions to inspire and influence the rebuilding of Bouwkunde. A typical workshop will involve people with various backgrounds, enriching both the experience and the results.
The group visions will be manifested in renderings, posters, and video presentations. The groups will present these on Sunday the 8th to a high-profile jury. Results will be exhibited on the Building for Bouwkunde Gallery of Visions and the Architecture Photography Exhibition. Above all, these results will be used as part of the brief for the international competition for the new Faculty of Architecture. Need we say more?!
The Creative Festival will take place at the Architecture Camp. This is on the rugby fields next to the former Faculty of Architecture building.
