Launched the first International Competition by Palermodesign.it, sponsored by Federlegno, Flou and Planeta Wines.
The aim of the contest is to show the capacity to read, interpret, refine and anticipate the scenarios of life in Mediterranean Countries.
The focus of this competition is wide, to let participants express their innermost glance in new trends of design, visual and photography; overcoming the stereotypes coming from the idea of the Mediterranean Area itself.
There are three sections: Product Design, Visual Design and Photography.
The competition is open to Designer, Architects, Photographers, Art Designers. Each candidate may participate with a proposal for each section.
There will be a prize of € 1000 for each section and three mentions for section.
Furthermore, there will be the opportunity for the winners to show their projects during next Designweek Exhibition, which will be held next June in Istanbul.
The judges of the contest are chosen among the best international designers and critics:

- Alessio Planeta – CEO of Planeta Wine ( Italy)

- Delfina Morán Arnaldo (Spain)
- Soumiya Jalal Mikou (Morocco)
- Wisseym Nochi (Lebanon)
- Ely Rozenberg (Israel)
