Natural Talent Design Competition - Northern California

This year’s annual Northern California Emerging Green Builders Natural Talent Design Competition is a two part challenge. One part is to based on the Oakland Apollo Alliance’s new Oakland Green Job Corps. Each team will need to design a training facility to preparing up to 40 young adults for green-collar careers. The site for this project will be in the Gateway Redevelopment Area of the Oakland Army Base Redevelopment Project which leads the other part of the design challenge: create a master plan for one region the Gateway Redevelopment Area. The location of the training facility within the Gateway area will be at the discretion of each team.

Registration will be open until the end of the competition on August 1st. By registering early, you will receive periodic updates regarding competition details and answers to questions asked by each team.
