I think they've played a role in that regard." -Kazys Varnelis (http://www.varnelis.net) Mark Jarzombek will moderate a discussion between bloggers Javier Arbona and Kazys Varnelis on the state and influence of architectural criticism in an age of digital networks, from their respective positions as producers of criticism and scholars of architecture. Javier Arbona is a PhD candidate in geography at UC Berkeley and a former chief editor at Archinect.com. He blogs at http://javier.est.pr/. Kazys Varnelis, PhD, is Director of the Network Architecture Lab at Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. He blogs at http://www.varnelis.net.
