In too many communities, a person can purchase French fries, but not fresh potatoes or purchase catsup, but not fresh tomatoes. That’s why, on September 6, people of conscious will present GOOD GREENS FESTIVAL 2008: Eat to Live, a groundbreaking, inaugural one-day event aimed at launching a new movement to engage African Americans in the issues of food access, health, and green economy jobs in Chicago and throughout the United States.
