Winners of the latest FYDA competition redefine the library for today's digital age

The Fenn Young Designers Award (FYDA) International Design Competition from Bangkok-based Fenn Design continues to celebrate the work of the next generation of architects and designers.
In the latest FYDA competition "Re-Imagining Learning", young creatives ages 18-33 were invited to submit designs of any type that redefine the library as a learning environment for today's technological times.
Out of 312 applicants from 58 countries, the jury selected three winners:
- 1st place: "The Digital Genesis of the Library" by Sharif Anouar, Ilyas El Hajji, El Mahdi Lebbate, Hicham Ousalah (Morocco)
- 2nd place: "The Hub" by Santi Musmeci, Sebastiano Maccarrone (Italy)
- 3rd place: "Retold | Narrating Intelligence" by Wei Leong Yap and Ming Jann Lee (Malaysia)
Twelve Honorable Mentions were also selected. Scroll down further to see the winning entries.
