Join Gary Bates, co-founder of Oslo-based architecture firm SPACEGROUP, for a lecture at USC.
Ferda Kolatan is the founding director of SU11 Architecture+Design in New York City and an Associate Professor of Practice at the Graduate School of Architecture at PennDesign. This lecture will map this interest through work produced in his practice as well as through his academic teaching.
“A Line of Inquiry” is a suite of elevation studies developed by Atelier Manferdini during the past three years. These drawings explore the potential of intricate scripted line work at the scale of building facades.
Laguna Art Museum’s 2018 retrospective of DeLap’s work will include approximately eighty paintings, sculptures, and drawings, and the accompanying catalogue will survey DeLap’s career and influence. Tony DeLap is Orange County’s foremost living artist...A leading practitioner of Southern California minimalism and “finish/fetish,” he also played a part in the development of op art, hard-edge painting, the California Light and Space movement, and site-specific installation.
