TEAM20 Hosting Its 8th Annual Architecture and Urban Planning Graduation Project Competition—Connecting the World and Exchanging Culture
“Graduation is not the End, but the Beginning of a New Chapter.”
On June 1st, 2020, TEAM20 kicks off its 8th Annual Architecture and Urban Planning Horizon Award. Since 2013, TEAM20 has been hosting the competition for architecture graduates from world-known universities and colleges in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, TEAM20 hosts this year’s competition online and has the opportunity to open its doors to invite more participants from all over the world.
Each year there are more than 120 graduation projects received and reviewed by professional and field-known juries. Both participants and juries come from world top-ranked universities and colleges in the architecture field such as China’s Tsinghua University (world ranking #11 and Asia ranking #1), University of Hong Kong (world ranking #14 and Asia ranking #3), and Taiwan’s Cheng Kung University (world ranking #101 and Asia ranking #29), among others. These graduation projects are primarily nominated by the graduates’ professors and later reviewed by the juries of this Award.
The main purpose of the Award is to create a platform for these graduation projects to be seen. The host also perceives these projects to be the intermedium of cultural exchanges between different backgrounds. The goal of this event is for these graduates to demonstrate their talents and projects, and to have the opportunity to connect with the world and grow their network for future career developments.
The 8th Annual Award opens for registration and submission on June 1st, and the deadline for submission is June 30th. For more detailed information, please visit Team 20’s official website at https://www.team20.org/
